Cardinal Classic Report

 West Virginians continued their winning ways at the Cardinal Classic last week with 26 attending.
Sandra Spencer started everyone off by winning event #1 The Farmstead Singles Lady II category with a 99  and going on to the second event Fishburn Handicap winning Lady II category again breaking a 96 and adding a yard to her handicap. Kinzy Smith won Sr. Veteran in the same event breaking a 97 and gaining a yard in the next handicap Smith broke a 96 gaining yet another yard.
The Saubles, Todd and son Alec, traveled from the eastern panhandle to participate and in event 7 Dawson Handicap Alec fired a event high 99 from the 26 to win the Junior Gold category. Sandra went on to smash a perfect century in the Fred Dague Singles to win Lady II. Cameron Bailey arrived in time to break his second 200 straight and claim Class AA Runnerup
 in as many weeks his first being in the Grand American Clay Target Championship where he was the Class AA Champion. Cameron also shot a 393 for the Event High All Around.
Other notables were Jim Schad and Darrel Murray both breaking 96's in the Championship Handicap event on Sunday.
