The WVATA Officers and Board of Directors met for the winter meeting. Discussed were The 8th Annual WVATA Hall of Fame Shoot held at Marshall County Hunting & Fishing Club. Marshall County Hunting & Fishing Club have donated $300.00 in added money split $150.00 each on Championship Handicap and Championship Doubles, $50.00 each class and yardage group 50/30/20 HiGun. In addition Larry Lilley has donated the Emerson Lilley Memorial Trophy to be awarded to the high combined gun in events 1, 2 and 4. Thanks to Larry and the Marshall County Hunting & Fishing Club for their support of the HOF shoot to be held at their grounds in Moundsville Saturday and Sunday this May 25 & 26, so come out and support the Club.

In WV State Shoot news the ATA has donated a Belt Buckle to the high WV Resident winner in Friday's Preliminary Handicap the ATA have also donated $500.00 to the WV Resident shooters to be divided 50/30/20 Hi-Gun.

 

   Fred Dague again this year is donating 2 Shamrock Shooting bags like the ones won by James Marcum and Daryl Farmer in the pictures below. These are Shamrock's top of the line shooting bags.

One will be for the "Earlybird Champion" to be awarded by random drawing and shoot off to any shooter shooting on Squads 1 thru 5 for events 1, 4, 7 & 8. Five Shooters will be randomly drawn and will shoot off by "miss and  out" from a "mystery spot." The other bag will be the "EarlyBird 1000 Champion" to awarded by random drawinf and shoot off to any shooter presquading on WWW.PRESQUAD.COM and shooting all 1000 State Shoot Targets. Five Shooters will be randomly drawn and will shoot off by "miss and  out" from a "mystery spot."

Brooke County Sportsman and Farmers Assoc. again will provide daily shuttles to area attractions and bingo for the ladies 18 and older, a schedule will be posted.

This year the Added Money and Trophies will exceed $13,000.00.

Scott Ross and Robert Harden were this year's inductees to the WVATA Hall of Fame. Their nomination letters as well last years inductees Ken Connett and Marl Isner letters are posted.
