More News from the Grand American

 I've a bit more news to share, we had one more shooter from WV at the Grand American this year meet Robert Judy and his parents Bill & Judy.

They hail from the eastern panhandle. Robert in his first time at the Grand won the NRA 3 Gun tactical Aim Championship with the fastest time of 28.1 seconds ,  5.21 seconds quicker than the next competitor, 995 AIM shooters entered. We look forward to meeting young Robert at the Hall of Fame Shoot or the WV State Shoot next year. Below Judy lists this years activities:

     Robert William Judy 15 yr old recently competed @ The 2013 AIM Grand National Youth Trap shooting Championships in Sparta Illinois. Robert won NRA 3 gun tactical championship finishing 1st out of 995 entries. He had the fastest time 23.1 seconds with 1 miss so a 5 second penalty. He is a sophomore at Hampshire high school, a member of Frederick County 4H Shooting Ed Club. He is also varsity soccer team at HHS & plays goalkeeper. He attends Augusta United Methodist Church residents with his parents Bill & Judy Judy in Pleasant Dale, Augusta WV. He's been shooting trap since March 2013 . His first AIM registered event was March 17th this year. While at the World Shooting & Recreation center he shot his personal best 94/100 singles, 89/100 then 77/100 doubles. He also competed for the Anne Oakley event. He shot 200 singles & 190 doubles for competition. He didn't shoot handicaps said he doesn't like. He also did sporting clays for fun, shot different times of trap guns such as browning & Remington. He did wobble, youth shooting showdown events handgun challenge, Rifle challenge,  Beretta pistol event, Annie Oakley challenge., & NRA 3 Gun tactical which he WON!
